The money saved will be returned to the city through actions and projects! <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;This is really great news for our city&#8221;, stresses the Mayor of Glyfada George Papanikolaou. And explains: <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;We have secured European funding of 4.5 million euros for the energy upgrade of Glyfada Town Hall!<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After almost thirty years since its construction, our Town Hall building is being radically changed, with a great project exclusively funded by the European Union!  <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"16\" width=\"16\" alt=\"&#x1F1EA;&#x1F1FA;\" src=\"https:\/\/static.xx.fbcdn.net\/images\/emoji.php\/v9\/tdd\/1\/16\/1f1ea_1f1fa.png\"\/><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200b<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This major project will shield the building energetically, upgrade its infrastructure and bring multiple benefits:<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Economic Benefit:<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We save very significant amounts of money every year on our energy bills (cooling and heating). The money we save is transferred to new actions and projects in our city! <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Environment:<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Glyfada Town Hall will be transformed into a building with virtually zero energy consumption.
