The Glyfadian author of the great successes Stefanos Dandolos is coming next Monday at the Municipal Free Open University (DEAP) of Glyfada for a very interesting discussion on the topic: “The historical novel as a means of disseminating the history and culture of a country”, which will be moderated by the journalist, Acting Municipal Councillor for Culture Georgia Vamvakerou.

The writer – literary artist Alkyoni Papadaki, who was scheduled to speak on Monday on the topic “My truths…”, will not be able to attend, so there has been a change of program.

Stefanos Dandolos was awarded the 2009 Botsi Prize, in the presence of the President of the Republic. He was described by Pavlos Mateschi as “the greatest Greek writer of his generation” and in 2008 he was included in the World Anthology of Young Writers, on the occasion of the Young Writers World Festival, held in South Korea. The bestseller “History Without a Name” was awarded the Public 2018 Public Audience Award for Best Greek Novel of the Year, the Public 2018 Special Adult Bookstore Award, as well as the ATHENS VOICE CHOICE 2017 Audience Award, and was transferred to the theatre in the 2019-21 seasons in a phenomenal performance that sold out repeatedly, and was also honoured in four categories at the Thessaloniki Theatre Awards.
