Air conditioners in all classrooms of all our schools in Glyfada

Intensive work during the holiday season for the crews of the Municipality of Glyfada! Air conditioners have already been installed in 180 classrooms and work continues at a rapid pace, so that very soon there will not be a single classroom without air conditioning. Students will find an environment different from the one they left when they left for the Easter holidays.
“Tomorrow the students will return to class and will find a different school environment in many of our schools!”, stresses the Mayor of Glyfada George Papanikolaou.
He adds.
We continued to install air conditioners in schools of all levels – so far we have installed air conditioners in 180 classrooms!
We are moving ahead intensively, true to our commitment to put air conditioning everywhere, especially now that we have had high temperatures since May. This of course, along with the necessary power supply upgrade planning to be able to support the new cooling systems.
We also fixed the courtyards, put in new modern LED lights, painted the interiors and classrooms, we didn’t stop for a single day.
Features:
– In the last semester alone, we have completed the painting of 21 school buildings of all levels.
– We completed the complete reconstruction of the courtyards of the 12th and 13th kindergartens in
during Easter.
– We have completed the replacement of conventional lamps with modern lamps already in 7 schools, i.e. a total of more than 5,500 lamps have been replaced in the previous period
Only during Easter in the 4th high school we changed 800 lamps!
– A big thank you to all those who have been working hard in our schools over these two weeks.
– I thank the deputy mayors Anni Kauka, Nikos Tsampiras and Yannis Skaltsas for their coordination.
At every opportunity we will continue our intensive work to maintain and upgrade our schools, so that students and teachers have the best possible learning and knowledge environment.
